This is the last Identity Evolution focused email you'll be receiving from me before I pivot into other territory, but I didn't want to skip this topic because it's perhaps the most important when discussing personal transformation.
You can make plans, set down boundaries, write down ideas, and say you're going to do it all differently, but unless you get very clear about the energy of the person and identity you're stepping into, it's going to be exceptionally challenging to achieve the change you're seeking.
I talk a lot about sympathetic resonance, which is most clearly illustrated by this visual: There are two guitars in the same room, and both are tuned the same. When one of the strings on one guitar is strummed, the same string on the other guitar will vibrate at the same time – even though there is no physical contact between the two guitars.
I think we can all agree that everything is made up of vibration, right? So if you consider yourself to be like one of those guitars, just a body with it's own vibrational frequency – what are you in resonance with?

People talk a lot about doing the "inner work", but it's rare that they actually explain what that inner work is. Part of it (of course) is therapeutic in nature – reckoning with the inner ruminations and storylines that keep us in our patterning and hold us back from being open to change and evolution.
But another part of it is about energetic alignment. If you're "calling in" a certain kind of identity, or achievement, or life, you have to do the work to align with the energy (or vibration) of that vision.
Because if you stay at the same frequency you're currently in, you're going to keep resonating with the same stuff you keep saying you're ready to move away from.
Some of you are reading this and saying this is a lot of woo-woo bs, but if that's you, I'd love for you to think about the last time you consciously pursued something that you wanted that felt a little out of reach.
How did you muster the courage to go after it? How did you create the belief in yourself that it was meant for you? Did you perhaps already see yourself with it before you even had it?
All of that work is what aligned you with the energy of what you wanted, making it possible for the space between you and that thing to decrease until it was yours.
Now I'm not saying this part of the practice is easy. In fact I tend to think it's the hardest part.
Which is why in the workbook I have a whole section devoted to helping you get really clear about what the energy of your evolution feels like, and then leave you with the task of holding that energy for at least one minute every day to help you cultivate more of it in yourself – day by day, bit by bit, gradually becoming more of you over time.
The more you align with the energy of the vision you're creating for yourself, the more the things, people, choices, and practices that align with that same vibration will make themselves known to you.
And wouldn't you rather consciously be calling in what you want rather than unconsciously resonating with stuff that isn't aligned with who you are and the life you want to live?
There are ways to do this energetic shifting with support – you never have to do anything on your own.
Until July 9th I'm running a birthday sale :) with a few of my favorite offerings at 36% off for my 36 years – but also I'm opening all of my services up to barter or energetic exchange for those of you who want support but would like to use something other than money as the trade.*
This includes astrology readings for yourself or a gift for $75, the beloved affirmation deck for $25, and the Intro to Astrology course for $63 – or all for an exchange!
If you're navigating change, evolution, and conscious transformation and are feeling trapped in your own mind or old ways of thinking – the best way to jumpstart your shift is with the support and accountability of someone you trust. And I'd love to be that person :)
